In a notebook, switch the view to Board (the buttons in its header: List, Board, Table). Each note is a card in a lane: Backlog, Todo, In progress, QA and Finished.
Drag cards between lanes (on a touch screen, tap the card's lane). Cards show priority, due date, checklist progress, owner and fields; set them right on the card.
Cards in Finished count as done.
